B What are Stem Cells?

What are Stem Cells?

A Stem Cells Is Like The Stem Of A Plant:  Here’s an easy way to understand stem cells. Imagine the stem of a plant that grows, branching out into leaves, flowers and fruits. On windy days, the branches can break. In some seasons the leaves dry up and fall. Despite this wear and tear, the stem finds a way to grow back to its original Self. Similarly, stem cells are the very foundation of the human body. Our parts of our body including blood, bones, skin and muscles are formed from master cells known as stem cellsSpecialized cells such as blood cells, muscle cells, nerve cells, brain cells do not normally replicate themselves, which means that when they are seriously damaged by disease or injury, they cannot replace themselves. Stem cells can also divide and produce more specialized cell types. Stem cells are the basic building blocks of life. They are found in the  body’s organs, tissues, blood, and immune system and have the ability to regenerate into additional stem cells or differentiate into specialized cells, such as nerve, muscle, blood cells. This remarkable ability makes them invaluable in medical treatments. When these stemcells transplanted into a patient’s body, stem cells can repair or replace the patient’s damaged or diseased cells, improving the patient’s health and, in many cases, saving the patient’s life, stem cells, renew dormant cells, repair damage, and regenerate healthy cells. They also defend against harmful ultraviolet, oxidative, and environmental stresses.Stemcells are finds in Human, Plants and in Animals. Now so many Stemcell treatments are emerging.
There are 200 types of cells in 20 organs of the body.
